Gettysburg, PA – The Gettysburg Heritage Center is excited to announce that it is now open seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering visitors daily access to its interactive exhibits, museum, and bookstore.
As spring approaches and Gettysburg prepares for another busy season, the Heritage Center welcomes guests to explore its engaging displays, which provide a unique perspective on the Battle of Gettysburg through the eyes of both soldiers and civilians. The museum’s immersive experience, featuring the popular “Cellar Experience”, 3D programs, historical artifacts, and short films, allows visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the events that shaped American history. Included in the museum experience is the award-winning movie, “Gettysburg: An Animated Map,” presented by the American Battlefield Trust. In addition to the museum, the Heritage Center’s bookstore and gift shop offer a wide selection of books, collectibles, souvenirs, and locally made products for history enthusiasts of all ages. Located at 297 Steinwehr Avenue, the Gettysburg Heritage Center serves as a gateway to the historic town and battlefield, helping visitors make the most of their Gettysburg experience.
