Walking Tours...

The battle of Gettysburg encompassed the farms and fields around the town, but also was fought through the streets.  The events that unfolded over the three days of fighting forever changed the people of Gettysburg.  The reality of war was devastating.  In a matter of 72 hours, the quiet town of Gettysburg was shaken to its core.  There were thousands of wounded and dead to care for. The destruction of crops, and need for additional food and supplies.  Come join our guide as you walk the streets of Gettysburg, hearing the stories of the people who came before you.  What they experienced, and how they were forever changed.

Days of Horror: Tragedy & Triumph After the Battle​

Walk in their Shoes. Learn about the horrific true stories the townspeople of Gettysburg experienced after the Battle of Gettysburg - stories of civilian casualties; how they endured and overcame those losses; the medical care of wounded soldiers, including surgical and amputation techniques; and how fallen soldiers were buried.

Women of Gettysburg

Hear the stories of sixteen women who lived through the Battle of Gettysburg. Learn how the meek ones found their courage, the young ones found their maturity, the tender ones found their strength, and how they all gave from their hearts to save the lives of soldiers and protect their families.

These are stories to be remembered of the quiet sacrifice, the selfless kindness, and the enduring resilience of the women of Gettysburg.  Understand how ordinary women changed the course of history in extraordinary ways.

Irish of Gettysburg

Come hear the stories of the lives of Irish citizens of Gettysburg. Listen to the stories of the Irish soldiers who fought for the North and for the South. Learn their history, their spirit, and their courage in battle. Share the luck of the Irish, and hear about their beliefs, their traditions, their faith, their humor, and a little bit of magic.
