Loyal Legion of the Confederacy Medal The medal itself measures appx 1.5” (40mm) or the size of a US Silver Dollar. The entire medal, with drop, measures 3 3/4” (95mm) x 1.5” (38mm). Includes explanation of each element of the medal. The Order of the Loyal Legion of the Confederacy is intended to recognize those whose contributions have made the New South the financial, industrial, technological, and political power in the country today. With the exception of the Southern Cross of Honor awarded to Confederate Civil War Veterans, no award exists for those wishing to proudly display their love of God and Country; along with their dedication to the principles of Loyalty, Fidelity, Duty, Honor, and the Right of Self-determination upon which the Old Confederacy was founded almost 150 years ago.
